Welcome to my Blog~

I am keen to have ART in my life and enjoy all fundamentals of ART, the creative & social side of it.
Finding out the how's and what's of ART is so intruging to me.
Mixed media is my first love, collage, glueing, sticking ~ bringing the creation to life. Having Fun with Art :)
Then sketching, drawing & doodling ~ especially in the phone book:) Husband hates that.
I have enjoyed different concepts of Art from Book Making to Mosaics, Painting and sketching.
Just being creative leaves you with a wonderful feeling.

Having Fun with Art with Rosemary Anderson :)

Background 1. Pouring techniques using thin acrylic and inks.
Day 2. What can you see in a painting?
Using charcoal and contrasting colours and tones we can
“bring out” what you see.
I titled it "Poppies" It's on my sister wall now :)

Background 2. Pouring techniques but thinking about the subject matter, col
ours and future placement.
Day 2. Paint your own subject matter using colours and tones in
the painting. Work in Progress :)

Background 3. Draw up the subject with crayon or thick pencil.
Go over lines with ‘No More Gaps’
When dry, pour on the paints as in Background 2, thinking about
colour and placement.
Work in Progress.

Enjoyed a two day workshop back in June with the BAVA group using a technique for making backgrounds easy.
Tutor Rosemary Anderson came over from Tannum and shared her knowledge about the Pouring Techniques.
