Very exciting on Monday when the paperwork turned up from McGregor Summer School.
Artist & friend Jenelle Wood is coming too. A goal we planned for 2010,
has come early after I won the Brigalow Art Scholarship supported by Anglo Coal.
Hoping to make it a yearly event - Summer or Winter :)
I have chosen to do Acrylics & Mixed Media with Catherine Parker
I first seen Catherine's work as a Flying Arts Tutor in 2006
Jenelle has chosen Pastels with Sue Oakley

Course synopsis
Journey with your brush! Using acrylic paints and a range of exciting mixed media participants have the opportunity to explore and examine a range of process and materials from painting, drawing and simple printmaking to found objects. Canvas, paper, wood, plastic, collage, ink, pastel, pens are just some of the materials participants will experiment with. This workshop is largely explorative in nature yet allows for conceptual development with participants taking home a variety of skill and processes. This is suitable for those who wish to take risks, experiment and explore.
